these terms of service ("terms") govern your use of the yap mobile application, websites, widgets, Siri and Shortcuts features, AI features, subscriptions, wallet and token features, and related services (collectively, the "service"). By accessing or using the service, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy.
you must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. If the age of digital consent where you live is higher, you need authorization from a parent or guardian. You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and promptly notify us of unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account.
subject to these terms, yap grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service on devices you own or control. You may not:
paid features are purchased through Apple's App Store or another displayed platform. Prices, billing periods, and trial terms are shown before purchase. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions automatically renew until canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The platform may charge your account within 24 hours before renewal.
manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings. Deleting yap or your yap account does not automatically cancel a store subscription. Restore Purchases may be used for eligible purchases. Billing, refunds, taxes, and payment disputes are handled under the store's rules, except where law requires otherwise. We may change future pricing with notice required by the platform or law.
you retain ownership of content you submit. You grant yap a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, personalize, secure, and improve the service, provide requested AI outputs, and comply with law. This license ends when content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup, legal, security, and provider-retention periods.
AI features may process prompts together with relevant account, chart, journal, dream, wellness, image, relationship, location, weather, or wallet context, as described in the privacy policy. Outputs are generated probabilistically. They may be incorrect, fabricated, repetitive, incomplete, offensive, or unsuitable for your circumstances.
you are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on, publishing, or sharing them. To the extent permitted by law, yap does not promise that outputs are unique or that you own exclusive rights in them; similar outputs may be generated for others. Do not use AI outputs to diagnose, treat, evaluate, or make legal, financial, employment, housing, insurance, education, safety, or other consequential decisions.
astrology, numerology, Human Design, BaZi, face reading, palm reading, dreams, spiritual meanings, compatibility, energy, timing, manifestation, and related content are offered for entertainment, reflection, and educational purposes. They are interpretive systems, not scientifically validated predictions or guarantees.
yap is not a medical provider, therapist, crisis service, lawyer, financial adviser, fiduciary, or other licensed professional. The service does not provide diagnosis, treatment, emergency assistance, legal advice, investment advice, or guaranteed outcomes. Do not delay professional care or make major health, safety, financial, relationship, travel, or life decisions solely because of yap. If you may harm yourself or someone else, contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource immediately.
optional features may request access to health, sleep, steps, location, camera, microphone, speech recognition, photos, contacts, calendar, motion, or notifications. Granting permission does not make yap responsible for the accuracy of device or third-party data. You can revoke permissions in device settings, but affected features may stop working.
yap may generate or connect a Solana wallet, display public balances, or provide promotional $YAP token rewards. Blockchain transactions are public, generally irreversible, and may involve network delays, outages, fees, volatility, tax consequences, scams, loss of credentials, or loss of value. Tokens are not promised to have monetary value and are not an investment, security, bank account, deposit, or guaranteed reward.
you are responsible for wallet security, eligibility, taxes, and compliance with applicable law. Never share a private key. yap may modify, suspend, limit, or end token, wallet, referral, or reward features where permitted by law. We do not guarantee recovery of credentials, tokens, or transactions.
the service relies on or links to third parties, including app stores, cloud hosts, AI providers, analytics and crash services, maps, weather, geocoding, speech recognition, public blockchains, and other websites. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. yap does not control and is not responsible for third-party availability, content, security, pricing, or conduct.
the service, software, design, branding, databases, and yap-provided content are owned by yap or its licensors and protected by law. No rights are granted except the limited license above. If you submit feedback or feature ideas, you grant yap a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use them without restriction or compensation.
we may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, limits, promotions, AI models, integrations, or content. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or permanent preservation of content. Keep copies of anything important.
you may stop using the service or delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk, abuse the service, or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms.
to the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." yap disclaims express, implied, and statutory warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, and that outputs or predictions will be correct or produce a particular result. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so portions may not apply to you.
to the fullest extent permitted by law, yap and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunities, tokens, or digital assets, arising from the service, even if advised of the possibility. yap's aggregate liability for all claims will not exceed the greater of fifty US dollars ($50) or the amount you paid yap for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.
to the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless yap and its affiliates from third-party claims and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the service, your content, your violation of another person's rights, or your breach of these terms. This does not apply where prohibited by consumer law.
these terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to mandatory consumer protections, disputes will be brought in state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California. If you reside in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, or another jurisdiction with mandatory local rights, you retain those rights and may be entitled to use your local courts.
for an iOS download, Apple is not a party to these terms, is not responsible for the service or support, and has no warranty obligation except any refund required by App Store rules. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce the applicable iOS license terms. Your use must comply with App Store Usage Rules and the Apple Standard EULA where applicable.
if a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our consent; yap may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These terms and the privacy policy are the entire agreement about the service unless additional written terms apply.
we may update these terms. We will post the new effective date and provide additional notice where required. Continuing to use the service after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised terms, except where law requires affirmative consent.
